I’m Dave Harper, a curator, cultural strategist, historian, and nonprofit leader based between New York City and Providence, Rhode Island.

For over twenty years, I’ve worked across contemporary visual art, multidisciplinary performance, and HIV/AIDS activism to create site-specific and community-centered programs that elevate artists, honor collective memory, and investigate the transformative potential of public space.

I currently serve as the Executive Director of the New York City AIDS Memorial.
